A Brahmin  who was standing below the tree on the bank of Tamraparni, it appears that this Brahmin was waiting for the arrival of Rayaru. As Rayaru came near to the tree, this Brahmin simply squatted and surrendered to the lotus feet of Rayaru. Simply fell on the feet . Rayaru asked him what do you require from me, what I have to do. The Brahmin said that he has committed greatest sins in his life under the circumstances prevailed and he has been dismissed by the society and not allowed to participate in any religious functions. Though he is living, living as Jeevanta Shava. So prayed to Rayaru to free from all the Bahishkaaras imposed on him by the society. Aparokshagnyani Karunaalu Rayaru completely knew the situation of the Brahmin. He has repented a lot for his follies and mistakes done by him. Rayaru took pity on Brahmin and decided to free from all the debars of the socio religious activities. Because Rayaru came to know that he has confessed and repented honestly.

Sri Raghavendrateertharu asked the Brahmin to meet tomorrow. Morning the Brahmin came and met Rayaru. Rayaru asked the Brahmin to shave his head, as all the sins committed by him are deposited on the tips of his hairs. Take a holy dip in Tamraparni and then come to me. Rayaru knew the ability of this Brahmin and decided to do the dharma by the Grace of Sri Hari. Repentance is the only means to purify our hearts. The first Sankalpa of our Gururayaru was to free from all the Bahishkaaras of the Brahmin when landed on Tirunellaveli situated on the bank of Tamraparni the sanctum of Sri Vibudhendrateertharu Brindavana.

After shave and bath the Brahmin came to Rayaru. At that time Rayaru was performing the pooja of Sri MoolaRamadevaru.Rayaru looked at him and asked him to sit. Holding the Shankha in his hand Rayaru did prokshana to his whole body with Shankhodaka chanting the Mantras prayed Sri Hari to free the poor Brahmin from all the sins. After prokshana Rayaru said now you are free from all the sins the Bahishkaara of the Mutt and the society have been cancelled. You have to mix and mingle in society and participate in all the religious activities. Today you be here see the pooja and take food in the Mutt along with him.

The gathered pandits and the orthodox, hard core Brahmins objected for this. Simply by the prokshana of Shankhodaka how it is possible to remove his sins, as he has committed great blunders in his life. Rayaru said the Brahmin has repented a lot and the shankha of Sri Hari has got the divine power. So  prokshana of Shankhodaka is done. So he is pure now.

The orthodox pandits asked Rayaru to prove this. Rayaru agreed and said ok. Rayaru asked a shishya of the Mutt to take a white cloth and dip completely in the Gerenne(black oil - something like indelible ink),The cloth became black and black Rayaru showed this to all. Rayaru holding the Shankha did the prokshana shankhodaka the cloth became white completely white by the prokshana of Shankhodaka by Rayaru. All surprised and bowed to Sri Rayaru for the divine power and Mahima. That day all were convinced that the Brahmin is liberated from all the sins. Requested Rayaru to excuse them as they compelled to prove that how he had become pure just by prokshana of Shankhodaka.
